Code Access Security (CAS)

Code Access security is the level of trust provided to the code to access the resources. The CLR implements the CAS based on evidence. Evidence location, strong named and whether it has a public key associated with it. This is in contrast to some developers believing it can restrict the access to the assembly itself.
